Formtech is proud to participate in the sustainability and green building material movement. Although we continue to produce polyvinyl chloride (PVC) products for many customers desiring the material’s properties, Formtech is constantly developing its knowledge and understanding of non-PVC, sustainable plastic and green material alternatives.

For years, Formtech has worked with these green building materials, developing the ability to produce high-quality products. Currently, we manufacture products with materials including Polycarbonate (PC), Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), Polyethylene (PE), High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS), Polypropylene (PP), Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE), Santoprene, and various others. In addition, Formtech is always willing to embark upon new challenges and gain more understanding of sustainability perspectives and sustainable plastic extrusion materials.

In addition, Formtech uses reprocessed materials where possible, which reduces our waste. In fact, our Truline division (www.truline.us) uses up to 90% of reprocessed materials in their products!
